[PRESS RELEASE] Dr. Ron Archer: “From Pain to Power, Wounds to Wisdom”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pregnancy & Parenting Resource Center to Host International Speaker at Annual Fundraising Banquet
Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A WOMAN’S CONCERN Pregnancy & Parenting Resource center will hold its 2019 Annual Partners’ Dinner, featuring acclaimed international speaker Dr. Ron Archer. The Annual Partners’ Dinner is A Woman’s Concern’s largest fundraiser of the year and will be held at Calvary Church in Lancaster on Thursday, April 11 at 6:30pm.
At the event Dr. Archer will share his amazing life story, which took him “from pain to power, from wounds to wisdom, and from failure to fortune.” Dr. Archer is a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, US Presidents, the United Nations; international spokesperson for Gideon Bibles; and a chaplain for the NFL. His riveting passion and humor are truly inspiring! Dr. Archer’s personal story brings listeners into the world he grew up in and walks them through the experience and the pain of an unplanned pregnancy, the vulnerability of a child experiencing insecurity at home, and the terrible results of abuse during childhood.
“We look forward to bringing this dynamic and powerful speaker to our partners and our community,” says Jill Hartman, Executive Director. “Our goal—with the help of our generous supporters—is to move boldly forward and continue expanding our reach, our services, and our impact. The donations from this event will help us welcome more women and families through our purple doors and give them the confidence and tools they need to succeed.”
